Hexed Private to Kastra Yaxley

Kastra,

I finally found that book I was telling you about in my father's library. 'Not Quite Wizard: Research on Genetic Mutations in Muggleborns.'
If you'd like to read it, I can bring it to you next time we go out for a ride. It has some interesting correlations between the genetics of a pureblood family and that of muggleborns.
Also i noticed some a journal of my father's own research on artifacts from the last war. I know you're interested in the 'not so popular' view point of history, so I thought maybe we could have tea sometime this week and look over what my father found while working.
I love have someone to discuss these things with

Style and Quidditch

I'm actually quite surprised to open the Daily Prophet today and see my picture in it. Not the most normal occurrence in my life to be listed under the style section. Not that I think I have a bad sense of fashion, I know what is trendy and looks good for different body types. It's just a surprise. And with their hint at my fashion tips for sports, I feel obligated to answer them. Where I probably wouldn't have before.

My siblings can't seem to get enough of a kick out of the whole thing. They've just learned to read and comprehend what is actually being said. It's nice to see that intelligence is an inherited trait, as they're learning quicker than other children of their age group. Though as I watch them in their daily lives I have assessed that Callisto would be the only one in Ravenclaw and, well, Cypress seems to have a leaning toward being a Gryffindor as he's focused so much on friends and Quidditch- you know the typical Gryffindor thing. heh. For being twins they sure are opposites. I really wouldn't mind doing research on their on-going development and leanings in magic. As twins will they have similar natural tendancies for the same type of casting or is the personality more of a factor in the development of magic talent than genetics?

Anyway, Quidditch is going well. Our first few games have been played and we're looking good this year. Our Chasers need some work and I suggested that they have extra practices while bothering to look up some information on techniques. It's not like any of us were born knowing how to do this job! It takes time, practice and observation to learn anything.
